Good food, comfortable surroundings and eco-friendly approaches to life are priorities here. Guests are welcomed with a tray of fairly traded refreshments to enjoy sea views or the glow of the open fire. By the Beach offer bedrooms with comfort and life style needs in mind. It also has a No Smoking Policy throughout the premises.

From the comfort of the Guest Lounge, you can watch the world go by; ships, boats and ferries travelling the English Channel the world's busiest sea route, the infamous Goodwin Sands and even views of France on a clear day!
Breakfast is served in the Garden Room overlooking the plant and bird-lovers' garden between 7-30 and 9-15. We are happy to serve earlier breakfasts for travellers, golfers and anglers by arrangement.
